It has been a great spring break! I has all my family here and we have been busy. On Friday we went to Cache Valley to Baby Animal Days. It was so much fun there were so many people but the area is so big you really couldn't even tell. The highlight of the day was when Haden decided to try Muttin Bustin. For you city folk that is when little kids jump on a sheep and hold on for dear life. I couldn't believe that Haden said he wanted to do it but he has had a brave streak going lately. He put on his gear and march right out. I was relieved to see that they had a cute little sheep ready for him. Then that cute little sheep got out and they pulled the next sheep/bull looking thing! It was the biggest woolliest sheep I have ever seen. Then it didn't make me feel better when they said the sheep's name was Crash! As you can see from the video Crash is an accurate name! Haden was doing great until the sheep ran smack into the barrel in the arena. Karen looked at me and I looked at her and she ran out to pick up Haden. The guy in charge told Karen that Haden broke his leg and the panic set in. He only ended up with a bruise and a few tears. I felt so guilty because it was my idea in the first place! So to ease my guilty conscience he got the biggest cotton candy I could find in the place. On the way back to the car Haden was covered head to toe in candy. He looked at me and said, "Oh yea, that was totally worth it!"
Today he told me that he was ready to try it again but this time he wants a large chocolate milk shake!

Wow! What a ride! I can't believe he was ready to do it again the next day. I wouldn'y ever want to see a sheep again if that were me.
Carrie, So good that you got that on tape he will probally cherish it when he gets a little older. I heard that you were sick. That is no fun. I hope you get feeling better soon!
